Eileen's real estate career started in 1988 as a site agent for Arvida Realty, who developed the Sawgrass Country Club and Players Club in Ponte Vedra Beach. From there she opened her own RE/MAX office in Ponte Vedra Beach in 1993. James McVeigh joined Eileen in the real estate business in 2014 shortly after graduating from the University of Florida with a degree in Marketing.
In 2020 Eileen merged her office with RE/MAX Specialists PV in order to focus more on her business. James and Eileen work as a team to give their clients the most support in all of their real estate transactions.

Eileen Ferrell McVeigH
Eileen was born in Dayton, Ohio but grew up in Huntsville, AL. She moved to the Ponte Vedra/Jacksonville area in 1980 after graduating from Auburn University with a Masters degree in Psychological Counseling. Eileen worked for Arvida Corporation, the developer of Sawgrass. Here, Eileen was in Human Resources, then a Construction Warranty manager, and spent her last five years there in real estate sales. Then in 1993, Eileen and a partner opened RE/MAX Coastal Real Estate. In 2020 they merged with RE/MAX Specialists PV. This office has consistently placed in the Top 5 real estate offices for closed sales in the greater Jacksonville area for the last several years.
Eileen says that “Being a Broker Associate is never boring. You never do the same thing two days in a row”. It’s this collection of experiences, that help Eileen to troubleshoot the real estate process. Trying to anticipate the events that can derail a real estate transaction, is what Eileen is very good at. For over 20 years Eileen has surrounded herself with a “dream team” of professionals in the mortgage, insurance, title & real estate closing industry to help make sure the property closes in a timely manner.
Eileen has also been very involved in the Association of Realtors. She was a past president of the Northeast Florida MLS, served as Secretary & Treasurer of the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors (NEFAR), and was on the Board of Directors for the Florida Realtors. Eileen was awarded the Realtor of the Year in 2002 from NEFAR and holds several professional designations. These designations show that she has completed coursework and passed testing that certifies her as an authority in such areas of real estate as Luxury Home Marketing, Short Sales and Foreclosures, and Relocation.
Eileen enjoys working with First Time Homebuyers, Investors, Move-up Buyers, Retirees, and Luxury Home Sales. She prides herself on being the Realtor of Choice for the whole family. “There are homes I’ve sold for clients over my 20 plus years in the business and now I’m working with their children to buy their first homes”. She can list clients who have bought and sold 12 to 15 properties each, over her career.
Eileen has won the Five star Real estate award for 15 years. The Five Star Professional Award is given to less than 1% of Realtors in Jacksonville and is awarded based on independent research conducted to determine the top Realtors in the Real Estate Industry.

James McVeigh
James is a native of the Ponte Vedra/Jacksonville area. James attended Ponte Vedra schools and graduated from Nease High School. He played on the Nease 2005 State Championship Football team. Upon graduation, he attended Fairmont State University in Fairmont West Virginia on football and scholastic scholarships. James transferred to the University of Florida his junior year and graduated in 2013 with a degree in marketing.
Upon graduating from Florida he decided to join his mom in the real estate business with RE/MAX Specialists PV. James says that “learning all the ins and outs of the real estate business has been very eye-opening, I never realized the details involved in getting a property to the closing table!”
James also coaches high school football at Bolles in his spare time. He has been associated with Ponte Vedra High School. He has taken both teams to the state championship.
